Halloween y Día de Muertos, dos festividades tan distintas y a la vez unidas para las personas que vivimos en esta frontera.
Siempre me ha encantado la película de Mary Poppins y ha sido mi sueño disfrazarme como ella, debo decir que este año fui inspirada por esta imagen de Keiko Lynn que me hizo darme cuenta que es un disfraz muy sencillo y no requiere de mayor gasto; y para hacerlo aún más perfecto, fue un disfraz de pareja ya que Alex se vistió como Bert.
¡Me encantó ser Mary Poppins! (aunque espero algún día también disfrazarme con su vestido blanco)
Halloween and Día de Muertos, two different festivities but united for the people that live in this border. I've always loved Mary Poppins and it has been my dream to dress up like her, I must say this year I was inspired by this image of Keiko Lynn that made me realize that it really is a simple costume and it isn't expensive to make; and to make it even more perfect, it was a couple costume because Alex dressed like Bert. I loved being Mary Poppins! (although I hope one day I will dress with her white dress)

otoñal, y me di cuenta que quiero empezar la tradicion de comprar una
calabaza, hacer figuras con ellas y luego comerla delciosamente como en
un pie de calabaza tal vez ya sea demasiado tarde este año, pero definitivamente será un propósito para el siguiente.
¿Y ustedes de qué se disfrazaron? ¿Tienen alguna tradicion en especial para esta época?
Pumpkins are part of halloween tradition and are a symbol of autumn, and I realized I want to start the tradition of buying a pumpkin, carving it and then eat it in all sorts of delicious recipes like pupmkin pie, may be it's too late for this year, but it will definitely be a must for next year.
